Tracfone Free Phones Program

Lifeline was created in 1984, initially to assist low-income Americans with setting up and paying for landline service, but cell phone providers have been offering Lifeline supported programs since 2000, said Eric Iversen, director of external relations for the Universal Service Administrative Company.

To qualify for TracFone’s or any other company’s Lifeline program, residents must match income guidelines. A few states that have their existing Lifeline program might have their own criteria, but the qualifying income in all federal default states except Alaska and Hawaii varies from a maximum of $14,621 for one person to a maximum of $49,964 for a family of eight.

SafeLink Official Program Offers Free Cell Phones

Looking for a way to get a free cell phone? You may be able to get one as part of a new program called SafeLink.  The federal government picks up the cost as part of an initiative to make sure everyone has access to a telephone.

The program is for low-income folks who aren’t able to afford telephone service on their own.

If you qualify, you can get a cell phone and 68 minutes a month to use for free.

That might not seem like a lot of talk time, but the whole goal is to make sure those with limited resources at least have a way to contact someone in an emergency.

The program is run by Tracfone Wireless, but backed by the Federal Communications Commission.

Doodle Jump iphone review

Beware, this is a very addicting game….! :)

SpinGuru For iPhone Review

I enjoy playing Donkey Kong: The game is basically a platformer and you have to swing Donkey Kong from one branch to another and use a charged-up swing to leap and hit enemies.

Well, remove the bananas, the trees, leaps, and all the fun, and replace Donkey Kong with a stick and you’ll have SpinGuru on the iPhone. You may understand that I don’t really like the game that much…

Space Invaders for iPhone Review

Source: Dan Fletcher (Article City)

Space Invaders is over 30 years old now if you can believe it, and still ranks as the number one arcade game of all-time, and likely will for all-time, unless arcades make a miraculous comeback around the globe.

The first thing that strikes is that this game has not been modified or upgraded. The original game, more or less, has been offered on the iPhone. This is surprising considering the fact that even classics like Pac-Man and Tetris have been modified to include new modes. The game does not have even a save mode. Every time you shut the game, you have to start all over again. This is really surprising as save mode is considered a fundamental part of all games. Further, the game is, like original arcade games, very tough to master and the controls too are not the best that you can find on an iPhone.

Rolando For iPhone Review

Rolando is a quirky combination of platforming and puzzle solving, as you attempt to lead the Rolandos and their royalty, the prince and rather gluttonous king, to safety.

Rolando has been described as a physics game and sounds as if one has to use a lot of grey cells to win the game. This misconception has scared many gamers away. However, this game is no different than a traditional platforming game. In this game, you will find yourself applying your attacking, defending and guarding skills to make your way through the game to the final destination. There are a lot of blasts, teleporters and catapults involved in the process.
